Long-stalked Caruncularia

Name published by Adrian Hardy Haworth for a South African stapeliad characterised by long, prominent floral peduncles, a feature that gives it its name. Currently reclassified under Orbea or related genera. The genus Caruncularia Haw. (1812) is an earlier synonym than Sweet's (1826).
