Caruncularia jacquinii Sweet

Jacquin's Caruncularia

Old name (Sweet, 1826) for a stapeliad from southern Africa now transferred to the genus Orbea or Stapelia. Named in honour of Austrian botanist Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin. The genus Caruncularia has been split with its species redistributed mainly among Orbea and Caralluma.
