Propagation Strategy
- 1 Collect seeds in autumn–winter.
- 2 Surface-sow on fine mineral sand at 18–22 °C.
- 3 Maintain daily temperature variation; moisten with a mister.
- 4 Germination in 7–21 days; transplant seedlings at 2–3 months.
- 1 Remove plant from pot in autumn.
- 2 The slender leaves of F. gratiae require careful handling to avoid breaking them.
- 3 Separate heads with roots; callus for 2–3 days.
- 4 Plant in mineral substrate; water after one week.
F. gratiae has more slender, elegant leaves than most of the genus; protect from hail or strong wind.
Watering in summer without respecting the summer semi-dormancy of the Faucaria genus.
Every 2–3 years in autumn.
Balanced fertilizer at 50% monthly from October to March. No fertilization in summer.

"F. gratiae is one of the Faucaria most rarely found in collections and in the literature; available data are largely inferred from the rest of the genus by habitat similarity. Conservative management following F. tigrina parameters is recommended."
