Compact dark-green haworthia
Catevala coarctata, synonym of Haworthia coarctata Haw., is a columnar succulent unusual in the genus for developing an upright stem 10–25 cm with densely imbricate spiraling leaves, creating very decorative dark green columns with white tubercles. It is one of the most cultivated columnar haworthias.

Propagation Strategy

- 2 Let cut dry 3–5 days until callus forms.
- 3 Plant in porous substrate and keep in shade without watering for 10 days.
- 1 Separate basal offsets with roots.
- 2 Let dry 2 days and plant in porous substrate.
