Caralluma longicornuta Croizat ex J.C.Gomes & E.C.Sousa

Long-horned Caralluma

Succulent with quadrangular toothed-angled stems, native to the arid zones of Angola and Namibia. Its name refers to the elongated, horn-like corona lobes of the flower, a distinctive feature that sets it apart from other members of the genus. It grows on rocky outcrops and stony soils under extreme arid conditions.
