Knee-jointed Caralluma
Species native to the Deccan plateau in central and southern India, originally described by Gravely and Mayuranathan and reclassified by Meve and Liede in their modern revision of Indian Stapelieae. The epithet 'geniculata' refers to the prominent joints of the stems.
