Flesh-coloured Caralluma
A succulent originally described by Carl von Linné fil. (L.f.) as Boucerosia incarnata and later transferred to the genus Caralluma by N.E. Brown. A variety alba with whitish flowers is also recognised. Grows in arid Cape zones (South Africa), on rocky soils and exposed slopes. "The synonymy with Boucerosia incarnata reflects the historical complexity of generic delimitation between Caralluma and Boucerosia. Var. alba is scarce and valued in specialised collections for its whitish flowering, unusual in the genus."
