"'Cacalia laciniata' Jacq. is the historical name. The currently accepted name is 'Senecio articulatus' (L.f.) Sch.Bip. (1845). Also circulates under the synonym 'Kleinia articulata' (L.f.) Haw. The species has an inverted cycle: leaves in winter, bare dormancy in summer."
