Dodson's Caralluma
A Somali species described by John Lavranos, named in honour of Calaway Dodson, an American botanist specialising in orchids. Endemic to the arid zones of Somalia. Part of the diverse group of Somali Caralluma studied by Lavranos between the 1960s and 1990s. Very rare in European collections.
