A succulent from the arid zones of the Indian subcontinent, currently recognised by many authors as Boucerosia crenulata. "Described by Wallich in the 19th century. Synonymy with Boucerosia crenulata is widely accepted. Some sources also list it under Desmidorchis crenulatus. Has pharmacological interest for its pregnane steroids."
