Caralluma crenulata Wall.

Crenulate Caralluma

A succulent from the arid zones of the Indian subcontinent, currently recognised by many authors as Boucerosia crenulata. Its quadrangular stems with crenulate (gently toothed) margins are its most characteristic feature. Widely distributed from India to Afghanistan, it grows in rocky dry habitats. The five-lobed flowers are dark-coloured with hairy papillae.
