Confused Caralluma
Taxon described by Font Quer from northern Africa, considered by many authors a synonym or variety of Caralluma burchardii N.E.Br. (= Apteranthes burchardii). A succulent with erect quadrangular toothed stems and brownish-yellow flowers mottled with purple. Its taxonomic status remains under review; some treatments retain it as a valid species from Morocco.
