Ascending Caralluma
Herbaceous succulent native to peninsular India and Sri Lanka. It is synonymous with Boucerosia adscendens (Roxb.) Wight & Arn. in modern classifications. The species is highly morphologically variable and comprises several varieties: var. attenuata, var. carinata, var. fimbriata, var. geniculata and var. gracilis, differing in stem size, angle profile and corolla ornamentation.
