Sharp-angled Caralluma
Herbaceous succulent distributed across northeast Africa (Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia) and the Arabian Peninsula. Stems are deeply quadrangular with sharp, toothed angles. Dark brownish-red flowers cluster near the base of stems. It is a synonym of Boucerosia acutangula (Decne.) Wight & Arn., the name recognized in some modern classifications.
