Bryophyllum × houghtonii (D.B.Ward) P.I.Forst.

Mother of Millions

Sterile hybrid between Kalanchoe daigremontiana (= B. daigremontianum) and K. delagoensis (= B. delagoense), now recognised as Kalanchoe × houghtonii. Its leaves are intermediate between the two parent species: flattened but with greyish tone and purple spots, with propagules on margins and apex. It is one of the most widely distributed Bryophyllum hybrids and one of the most invasive in subtropical and Mediterranean climates.
