Bryophyllum proliferum Bowie ex Hook.

Sprouting Leaf

Large arborescent succulent native to Madagascar and southern Africa, currently recognised as Kalanchoe prolifera. Unlike other Bryophyllum species, this one grows as a shrub or small tree up to 2 metres tall. Its pinnate leaves produce adventitious plantlets on the margins. It is one of the largest Kalanchoe and is highly prized in botanical collections.
