Bryophyllum gastonis-bonnieri (Raym.-Hamet & H.Perrier) Lauz.-March.
Donkey Ears
Short-lived biennial or perennial succulent native to Madagascar, currently recognised as Kalanchoe gastonis-bonnieri. Its leaves are notably large, up to 30–40 cm, oblong-lanceolate, grey-green with purple spots, producing adventitious plantlets on their margins. It is called 'donkey ears' for the shape and size of its leaves. Like other Bryophyllum species, it contains bufadienolide glycosides.

"Current accepted name: Kalanchoe gastonis-bonnieri Raym.-Hamet & H.Perrier. It is biennial or short-lived: dies after flowering, but leaves large numbers of propagules. Very striking due to the exceptional size of its leaves."
