Chandelier Plant

Succulent native to Madagascar, now recognized as Kalanchoe delagoensis. Its cylindrical mottled leaves produce adventitious plantlets at the apical tip, hanging like candelabras, hence its popular name. It is one of the most invasive succulents in the world, declared an invasive species in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Hawaii and other regions. Toxic to livestock due to its bufadienolide glycosides.
