Brachystelma pygmaeum (Schltr.) N.E.Br.
Dwarf Brachystelma
One of the smallest species in the genus, native to KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape (South Africa). Forms a flattened tuber and very short stems with tiny greenish-yellow to pale brown flowers. Subspecies flavidum, frequently cultivated in European collections, has more pronounced yellow-green tones in the flowers.
