Boucerosia incarnata (L.f.) N.E.Br. is the historical name for this Cape succulent whose currently accepted name is Orbea incarnata (L.f.) Bruyns. The epithet 'incarnata' refers to the pinkish flesh colour of its flowers, unusual in the genus. It has compact tetragonal stems and flowers readily in cultivation. Native to arid areas of the Cape Province, South Africa.
