Skinner's astroloba

Astroloba skinneri is a compact rosette succulent endemic to the Western Cape of South Africa. It was described by Alwin Berger in the early 20th century and named in honour of H.L. Skinner. This species is particularly valued for its use in hybridisation with other Astroloba, producing intermediate forms of great interest to collectors.
