Schlecht's argyroderma
Argyroderma schlechteri is a mesemb of the family Aizoaceae endemic to the quartz fields of Namaqualand, South Africa. It was described by Schwantes and named after the Schlecht farm, on whose lands it was originally collected. Its bilobed, stone-like body and flowers emerging between the leaves identify it as a typical member of the genus Argyroderma.
