Apteranthes cylindrica is a stapeliad distributed across North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, and Libya). It is distinguished from its congeners by more cylindrical and less angular stems. Grows in arid to semi-arid rocky habitats. Rarely cultivated outside specialist collections.
