Schönland's anacampseros

Anacampseros schoenlandii is a dwarf succulent described by Poellnitz, native to the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Its dense rosettes with ovate leaves and papery axillary scales are characteristic of the genus. The flowers, pink and ephemeral, appear on sunny afternoons. This species inhabits rocky soils and semi-arid exposures of the Eastern Cape.
