Red anacampseros
Anacampseros rubens is a tiny caespitose succulent native to the Cape Province of South Africa. It forms small dense rosettes with ovate reddish-green leaves covered in papery whitish scales in the leaf axils. Its ephemeral pink flowers open only for 2–4 hours on sunny afternoons. It grows in sandy or stony soils in semi-arid exposures.
