Anacampseros juttae Dinter ex Poelln.
Jutte's anacampseros
Anacampseros juttae was collected on the Jutte farm in Namibia by Dinter and formally described by Poellnitz. It is notable within the genus for developing a robust and well-defined caudex at the base over time, making it especially attractive to caudex plant collectors. Its ephemeral pink flowers are typical of the genus.

Propagation Strategy
- 1 Sow on moist mineral substrate shallowly without covering the seed.
- 2 Keep at 20–25 °C under cover until germination.
- 3 Seedlings will develop a visible caudex by 2–3 years.
Repot without covering the caudex to appreciate it aesthetically.
Burying the caudex completely in substrate, promoting rot.
Every 4–5 years; repot exposing the caudex
Once in spring with balanced (low nitrogen) fertilizer at 25%

"The caudex of A. juttae is a highly developed storage organ that allows the plant to survive prolonged periods of absolute drought, even with the leaf rosette completely desiccated. The caudex contains mucilages and reserve carbohydrates."
