Namaqualand anacampseros

Anacampseros namaquensis is a succulent endemic to Namaqualand in Northern Cape, South Africa. Closely related to A. filamentosa, it is distinguished by slightly broader leaves and more abundant axillary filaments. In its habitat it grows in sandy and gravelly soils exposed to full sun. Its ephemeral pink flowers bloom in spring–summer and are of great ephemeral beauty.
