Propagation Strategy
- 1 Shallow seeding in fine quartz.
- 2 Temperature 23–27 °C, plastic cover for 2 weeks.
- 3 Gradually reduce humidity; plant shows typical characters from young age.
Leaf curvature is the diagnostic trait; it is lost with low light or excess water.
Excess water or fertilisation that flattens the rosette and loses curvature.
Every 3–4 years
Once a year in spring, very diluted

"The recurved curvature of A. recurvata leaves is more pronounced in specimens grown under full sun with slight water stress. This morphology may be an adaptation to orient leaves toward the ground and capture nightly dew."
