Clanwilliam aloinopsis
Species described by Louisa Bolus, endemic to the surroundings of Clanwilliam in the Western Cape, in the Cederberg region. Inhabits the quartzite plateaus and sandy slopes of this region known for its Fynbos flora and succulents. Small rosettes with leaves covered in whitish markings. Flowers in winter with yellow flowers. One of the least studied Aloinopsis in the genus.

Short and somewhat dorsoventrally flattened; 1.5–3.5 cm long; greyish green with small whitish markings.

Propagation Strategy
- 1 Sow in pure fine quartzite sand in autumn.
- 2 Temperature: 12–16 °C; cool and sunny environment.
- 3 Minimal moisture until germination; then reduce further.
- 4 Seedlings are very slow; do not transplant until the second year.
