Aloe peckii

Peck's aloe

Rare species endemic to Somalia, described by P.R.O. Bally and I. Verdoorn. Known from few localities in semi-arid regions of northern Somalia. Its rarity in cultivation makes it of interest to specialized collectors and ex situ conservation programs.

science

"A species for which very little morphological and ecological information is available in the scientific literature. Successful cultivation would require replicating the extreme conditions of northern Somalia."
