Rupicolous aloe endemic to the cliffs of the Soutpansberg Mountains in Limpopo. Develops striking pendulous flowers and grows exclusively in rock crevices and ledges, where the roots anchor firmly in the fissures.

Lanceolate, blue-green leaves with robust marginal spines. Dense rosette adapted to the air currents of the cliffs.

Propagation Strategy
- 1 Sow in very poor mineral substrate, mimicking rock crevice substrate.
- 2 Use terracotta pots to promote aeration.
- 3 Maintain at 22–26 °C; water with a dropper.
- 4 Germination is slow and irregular; do not discard before 8 weeks.
Preferably cultivate in vertical or hanging pots that mimic the rupicolous habitat.
Any excess watering can be fatal for this species.
Avoid repotting; if necessary, do it every 5 years with maximum care.
No fertiliser or minimal (once every 2 years in spring).
