Ramenas aloe / Karoo aloe

Aloe longistyla, known as the Ramenas aloe or Karoo aloe, is a compact species from the arid regions of Western Cape and Northern Cape in South Africa. Its most striking feature is the extremely long stamens that clearly protrude from the pink to rose-coloured flowers, a unique trait within the genus. It tolerates moderate frosts and intense droughts.
