Aloe leptophylla is a small aloe that grows in the grasslands of South Africa's Free State and Northern Cape. It is characterized by its very narrow, erect, nearly cylindrical leaves that make it hard to spot among grass when not in flower. Its flowers are orange or red and emerge on a slender scape.
