Aloe candelabrum is a majestic single-stemmed arborescent aloe native to KwaZulu-Natal, characterised by its spectacular candelabra inflorescence with multiple floral branches that can reach 2 m in height. Its single, straight trunk clothed in dry leaves can exceed 5 m in mature plants. It is a species of critical ecological importance for sunbirds, bulbuls and weavers of the region.
