Glass's calibanus
Calibanus glassianus is a recently described species, named in honor of horticulturist and cactus expert Charles Glass. It differs from C. hookeri by its smaller and flattened caudex, and from C. caespitosus by the less dense arrangement of its leaves. It is the rarest species in the genus and virtually absent from cultivation outside Mexico.
