Ceiba integrifolia (Ulbr.) Ravenna

Entire-leaved Ceiba

Ceiba with restricted distribution in northwestern Argentina (Tucumán and Catamarca provinces) and Bolivia. The epithet "integrifolia" refers to leaves with entire margins, without teeth or lobes, unlike other species in the genus. Tree of montane forests and subtropical dry environments at low and medium altitude.
