science

"This variety was described by Engler to designate Somali populations of C. myrrha whose resin corresponded to the commercial product called 'molmol'. The varietal status is widely questioned: many authors synonymised it with the typical species (see RN-CMPH-00012) or with C. molmol sensu stricto (see RN-CMPH-00011). The chemical identity of the resin is similar in all three taxa."
